Julie is a multi-talented performer, writer, producer and songwiter who enjoys making people laugh, feel loved, and consider their role in making the world a better place. After co-founding TMI Project, Julie worked as an art director and graphic designer before joining the team at The Future Perfect Project (FPP) a non-profit organization that offers free arts programming to LGBTQIA+ youth across the globe, in 2018 Julie is co-executive producer of FPP's podcast, I'm Feeling Queer Today, the story editor and director of the FPP series Queer Youth Animated seasons 1 and 2, as well as the original animated short, Super Queeroes (written by and starring 2 LGBTQ+ middle school students from Kingston, NY). She also serves as a workshop facilitator for FPP's Writer's Room series and other multimedia workshops which offer a platform to amplify the voices of queer youth.

Between 2006-2009 she was the lead singer and songwriter of the popular Hudson Valley bands Guitars & Hearts and Gigantic, and has composed original songs for film, podcasts and her own personal projects.

Between 2014-2016, Julie toured her one-person live show, America's Next Top, which had a successful run in the NYC Fringe Festival. The autobiographical theatre piece is centered around stories about the exploration of—and other people’s confusion around—her gender and sexual orientation...

Julie is also the host of No One Like You on Radio Kingston, a weekly program where she interviews everyday heroes who share uplifting stories about turning their kryptonite into their superpower. Since the inception of No One Like You in 2018, Julie has been a strong advocate for amplifying the voices of teenage youth in the Hudson Valley acting as a broadcasting mentor as she invites young people to participate in hosting and creating segments for the show.
